Brandy: Distillation of wine
Okie at least I have something to take home today. But really, I better start studying for Wine tonight. Better maintain my above 90 average. for academics at least. It's so sad this morning when I saw my results slip on moodle. everything was so pretty. 91,92,94,98. then I got a 72 for craft based learning. wtf man. Stupid practical test that I screwed so badly. I guess the grades I felt I should be getting here should be like what people normally get in primary school. like 90 plus, or at the very least hovering around the high 80s. So yea. I was pretty disappointed. Am currently waiting for my Math grades. hope I don't go below 90. le sigh. ok to be fair, if I had gotten such grades back in NJ, I would have been over the moon. Imagine getting 72 for IH or smth omg. or for Econs. HAHAH! (but then again life here is not all about keeping up with the rat race, is it. there is definitely more to it. especially when I'm surrounded by beautiful mountains and valleys. sometimes I feel I should just take this opportunity to slow down and look around. enjoy when I can before I'm back in busy Singapore) Aiyah who am I kidding. school fees so expensive. of course must make the best out of it la. #typicalsingaporean
The original reason for fortifying wine was to preserve it.
PPD was interesting today. We witnessed 2 coaching sessions in class between Mr Gamberoni and Dorian, and Mr G and Catarina. He guided them to their own conclusions and I thought that was really cool because no instructions were involved. Just relating and discussing. Then we watched a video about how someone can be drunk without drinking. It's a psychology thing. Like messages are pre sent to your brain and body about how being in drunk would be like. and you start feeling this way soon enough. Go watch the video omg.
Cool right? hahaha!
