Motherly Duties

So I was at home yesterday again and decided to fulfil my pseudo mum duties by cooking a healthy meal for my sister. Decided on Chicken macaroni soup because I had chicken in the freezer and uh it was easy lol.

But being the failgirl that I was, I cooked too much macaroni:( It initially didn't feel like a lot when I was pouring it into the pot. Then I added in water and it dawned on me lol. So anyway whatever I just cooked it. And I left it boiling over the stove for too long too. Became cooked a little more than al dente fml. 

Then I went on to boil my chicken! Very healthy right! Boiled chicken meat. And I tore it to shreds after that.

This was after I realised I forgot to remove the skin and the fats. But still ok la huh. 

And then I made the soup base. Took half of the water I used to boil the chicken. Combined it with a mini packet of chicken stock and added in mushrooms! 

Ok it doesn't look very appetising here. But it was ok! And I didn't have to add extra seasoning. All natural flavours (save for the chicken stock la heh)

And I put it all together and....

TADAHHH! Chicken Macaroni Soup (spammed with mushrooms because it's my version) 

Heh anyway, we went to Greenhouse yesterday for dinner. omg I didn't expect it to be so expensive. But I guess it was really good and we certainly got semi VIP treatment heh! And the ice cream there omg. Love the frozen strawberry! Really good combi with the ice cream. And the green tea chocolate that I always see club guests eat. woohoo! Had a lot of good sashimi too. Because it was like a special Japanese fare thingy yesterday. So we had chefs specially flown in from Japan to prepare certain dishes here. Everything was . done so nicely! A pity I couldn't have the sukiyaki. Everybody said it was really good. But since it was beef and I couldn't take and didn't like beef, I had to miss it. oh well:/ Anyway, I liked my outfit yesterday! Wore a vintage white lace top with a black collar, paired with my black skater skirt from Topshop. Didn't know what to pair it with previous. The only time I wore it last year was when I paired it was my pink turtle neck lol. Still rmb I wore that to go get Thai food at Sierre. Anyway, I wore my nude heels yesterday too woohoo! Forgot to take an OOTD photo though:/ oh well
