A Day in The Life

So I have slightly less than a month less before I return to school. Frankly speaking, I'm already mentally prepared to leave everything behind again and probably come back to something so foreign yet vaguely familiar. But I guess the only thing that'll still be constant (for now) and  that i'll miss would be my family (awww sniff sniff). Haha yea! Didn't really have time to spend much time with the family over the past 7 months, though I was back at home. How ironic. So these few days have been extra precious. Especially since Belle was having her June Holidays and my parents kept coming home to keep us company/take us out hahah!

So I guess Sunday was an example of what a perfect Family Day meant to me:

Started off with me waking up lazily at 11.30/12. My dad had already taken Belle out for Ballet lessons and my mum was busy in the kitchen(yay! love it when my mum stays home to cook). Then I proceeded to reading the papers, then my new chick lit book. (lol I forgot the title wtf. It's by Sophie Kinsella. Something about an insecure girl named Poppie who took this PA's phone. And yea all her protagonists always turn out to be such adorable jokes). After my dad and sister returned, we had lunch. Mum made sweet potato porridge with lots of dishes. (I think there was fishcake, minced pork and tau kwa with soya sauce, some veggie dish that I didn't take and salted egg). Then I went back to reading. While we left Belle at home to have tuition, the three of us left for the car showrooms! Spent the afternoon looking at cars, getting on and off all those pretty models. And sniffing the smell of new leather hehehe. We went to Lexus first and while my parents were speaking to the lady, she even arranged for milo/coffee to be served. Check this out!

what presentation right! (somemore got cookie at the side. though i didn't really like it heh)

Anyway after car shopping, we went back to pick my sister up. And we went to view showflats for fun. Yea that's one of my hobbies. I'm not kidding. I like to see pretty things and well, showflats are always done up so well. Plus you get pretty brochures for you to bring home and daydream about heh! I've always enjoyed going to such places since young. I guess my dad used to bring me there for his JOB. because he liked to gain inspiration there. but yea after awhile, it grew onto me as well!

Then we went home. I said I wanted curry chicken with beehoon lol (yea I like party food). And hahaha t'was so coincidental that we happened to have a packet of curry in our cabinet. Dad made the curry. Then the 3 of us (Belle, my dad and I) went down to help wash the car. My mum stayed behind to finish making dinner. It's been so long since I last helped my dad with the car hahah! I think since Primary 4. And yep after that, we all went up. Sped through dinner and waited for my sister's friend's mum to come. And as usual, she was 2 hours late. no biggie hahaha!

So yes Sunday was perfect and I guess I would do anything in exchange for more Sundays like that:)
