Back In School

So I'm back in school after a really long and arduous and well, epic journey. So let's see. I've experienced being left alone on a train while my friends were left outside. And I've experienced being left with all their bags on the train. Also tried getting off the train with all their bags in 10 seconds flat. really you should try it someday hahah. So yea that's basically what happened. After we got off the plane, we were brainstorming how we wanted to travel to school from Zurich - by train or by taxi. Turns out  the cabfare would amount to CHF1400 plus the driver didn't know his way and would be relying on his GPS. So if he got lost, yea wouldn't have been pretty. So we decided on the train, which would have been pretty straightforward
Zurich Airport -> Visp -> Sierre. Simple. It would just take us around 3 hours. So by the time we decided and made our way to the train station, it was already 9am. Amana then decided to go get her half price card, and at the same time get us our train tickets. So Ben accompanied her and I was left at the train platform to take care of our luggage. The clock started ticking (way too fast imo). And at 9.30, the both of them weren't here yet. So I gave Amana a call. She said they were on their way back (train was already here and it was scheduled to leave at 9.40. By around 9.38, I saw them running towards the train, so I thought it was time to begin loading the luggage into the train (So we had 6 pieces in total). Just as I was about to put down the 4th piece and get off the train to collect the rest, the train door closed. yea. So I was stuck on the train, with 4 pieces of baggage, staring at Amana and Ben (who were outside). helpless. tried pressing on the open button but to no avail. So I gave Amana a call again. By the time we came to our senses wrt what just happened, I decided to just get off the next station and have Amana and Ben come find me (it was in Zurich). so yea that's what they did and we took the 11.02 train towards Visp and then Sierre. end of story. Oh yea, in the process, I massacred my pretty nude flats which I really kinda liked. So yea:/

Behold! the 4 pieces I forced myself to manhandle. Ok they all look tiny in the photo. But trust me, each was about waist high for me. Plus my own was alr 35kg. HAHAH I think I carried a total of double my weight. yay!

Btw, I just realised Amana, Ben and Chandel makes ABC lolol. I think primary school teachers can use our story for math problems. Example:

Amana and Ben left Chandel on a train heading towards Zurich at 9.10am. If they have to catch up with Chandel as she alights in Zurich at 9.20am (assuming that the distance between Zurich and Zurich airport is 10km and the trains come in 3 min intervals. Also assuming that there are tons of tracks in the station and every train will head towards Zurich), how fast must Amana and Ben's train be?

lol ok I don't think I'll make a really good Math teacher with my confusing sentence structures. Anyway, so I've more or less settled down. My room mate is not here yet. She'll probably be checking in next Tues/Wed. Pretty excited to see her (pretty) face actually. I don't actually know who I'm going to be rooming with for the next few months. But I do hope she's pretty and she likes shopping lol (and not a bitch obviously).The school actually dropped a message on her bed yesterday, reminding me not to take her bed lol.

hahaha makes no grammatical sense at all. wtf is a roommate might be getting a roommate shortly-.-

Hahah but anyway, I'm patiently awaiting her arrival. I've already gotten us pots and pans and hand soap everything! Should I get her a welcome gift too hehe. Ok I shall wait and see if she's nice. My wardrobe's already all packed too. So happy it's full and omg my winter wardrobe is so comprehensive lol. But I'll probably go grab more tights. Cold winters:/ Speaking of the weather, I can't believe it's so freaking hot right now. Like worse than Singapore I think. I've been sweating like crazy (ok I think the weathergods in Bluche felt bad and just gave me a bit of a breeze) but anyway, I was in the funicular yesterday and I felt damn baked omg. The design of it is pretty fucked up imo. Who in the world would choose a transparent material (probably glass) for the top of your car. We had sun shining in from the top and it was super hot. By the time I got out of the funi, my face was flushed and I felt I could have died in there hahaha. Anyway, I'm going back to Sierre today. Gonna grab some Thai rice and my usual condiments. Maybe some eggs/mushrooms. hmmm I'll see.
