My uniforms and the Sexual Assault

So I'm back again. Yes I'm super free lol. Yesterday was a pretty interesting day. I cleared my wardrobe (the other one with all the hangers) and found lotsa good old stuff which allowed me to reminisce. hahaha! You know sometimes when you clear your room and you take like half a day or something because you keep getting distracted by cool stuff? yea that was pretty much what happened to me. heh! So one of the first things I found:

MY BROWNIE UNIFORM! yea can you believe I actually fit into that when I was in Primary School!

k so let me explain my badges: The patch with that white dancey thing indicates my Six (I think it's called a Six. I forgot. aiyah means group. hahaha! I was from GNOMES.. So yes the white dancey thing's supposed to be a gnome. ok then the 2 circular patches above it are Thinking Day patches. Just complimentary patches given to all Brownies I think. So my mum just sewed it on. Adds more colour to the dull uniform anyway! ok then above the patch that says HAPPINESS is ... is my Rank patch. Basically just shows that I'm a Sixer (aka leader of my Six). The 3 patches you see on the sleeves: frog one is a swimming patch, the one with a pot: cooking (duh), the other one was for writing I think.

Then the patch with the hand, it's called the Golden Hand Patch. You earn it after getting the Golden Bar (I forgot what you need to attain la. But hahaha after that you can get the Chief Commissioner's Badge, which I did ahem. hahaha! But it's kinda all super tyco one. Explanations below) Ok on to the sleeves: The one with the cross: First Aid, toothbrush: Some dental thing, Bee: I seriously don't know. Book: Reading la duh, Globe: idk. world knowledge? world traveller? dont know la. Green one: some gardening shit.

Haha so yes. That's my brownie uniform for you. A lot of patches right! But I think I deserved less than half of it since I missed like almost half of the year's Brownie sessions and I basically got my patches because my batch mates did as well. So my teacher was kinda lenient with me also. Like I just had to meet the most basic requirements and I got my patches together with my friends heh! And so I accumulated all these from P3-P5. Plus my Chief Commissioner's Badge. ok that one I really worked for that k. Still remember doing all the presentations and projects and memorisation omg. hahaha! and some interview with the chief commissioner:O oh and clarification: I missed half of Brownies not because I was an epic ponner like most people know me to be ok! I had Ballet on Saturdays too! So I went on alternate weeks heh! Ballet used to be really fun back in Primary School^^

ok next up:
My old RGPS pinafore! Hahahah! Still in pretty good condition, in my opinion. I found the blouse too, but forgot to take a picture of it. Aiyah whatever la, its just a white blouse lor.

So here's proof that I didn't grow much since Primary School. But then again, to be fair, my pinafore was fucking long back then. Like mid shin, near to the ankle alr. HAHA almost like a maxi dress in P5? It was so bad till my teacher had to tell me to alter my pinafore. Not that I did. HAHA! ok so come to think of it, I did grow quite a bit right. from maxi dress to mini dress. ok la heh not bad! but still stuck at (being not very tall) wtf.

ok then I found a lot of other things. Old racial harmony day costumes. Seriously, I can open a costume rental shop. I have cheongsams, samfoos, chinese top and skirts, Manchu qipaos with the scarf(with headpieces: Qing dynasty ones, mongolian ones with the beads lol), a lot of kebayas (when I was going through that age of denial, thinking that I was secretly nyonya and my parents were hiding that piece of fact from me. So I just got them to buy me kebayas so I could wear them for CNY, Racial Harmony Day, randomly with jeans and heels so I looked posh lol). I have Ao Dais (Vietnamese costume), Kimonos and Hanboks too. HAHAH! oh yea and the 90's little girl fashion staple. THE SINGAPORE GIRL UNIFORM. hahaha! but obviously, none of these costumes fit anymore (sadly). maybe only the kebayas still fit. heh! But I'll still keep everything nonetheless. Gonna show my kids next time (force them to wear? hmmm)

Yea then I found dresses that I wore during my pageant days. Hair pieces and stuff lol! I think my childhood was kinda retarded but fun! Wouldn't mind doing all these things all over again, OR having a daughter who's just like me so we have the same interests and I can have her join pageants and be the epic bimbo that I am lol. ok certainly don't wanna jinx this. Later I get like 3 sons (oh dear lord) or like tomboy daughters. nooooo:(

Anyway, after clearing all that mess, I met Yvett at 313 for dinner and she told me what happened after Andrew and I left at Phuture lolol! then we went for Broadway lessons at Oschool! Imma practise and perfect the dance! So sexy and cute! heh!

Satisfied after a painful but super fun class! Forget the fact that I was a little lag. HAHA! I'll practise!

Then on the way home on 171, there was a sexual assault case. Yea it's actually the first time that I've encountered something like that. And I must say that I'm kinda impressed with how some commuters actually reacted to and handled the situation. So this was what happened: halfway through the journey, a lady suddenly stood up and called for the bus driver's attention. Apparently, the guy next to her had (invaded her space?) and she was really uncomfortable. So she insisted that the police were called in because that to her was 'very unacceptable'. btw, it was kinda funny because the bus driver couldn't really understand English (I think) and the lady was like strictly 'I only complain in perfect English because idk how to express my grievances in some other language' So half the time, the people around her were helping her translate. and the accused was just sitting there the whole time (he didn't move, attempt to escape or anything). So the lady next to me (yea we became friends) and I concluded that perhaps it wasn't intentional on his part OR he was drunk OR mentally impaired? turns out he probably didn't understand her complain (He was protesting in Malay when the police officers came up to get him to alight so that they could settle the matter. So he probably couldn't really speak/understand English?)

So anyway, the complainant got the bus driver to stop the bus along Bukit Timah Road as her friend was apparently gonna get police officers to come to the site. So we waited for around 20 mins. During that time, many people started alighting because it was getting late so they prob didn't want to risk missing the last bus. But since it wasn't convenient for me to get off there since there weren't any direct buses that I could change to, I stayed on. Then this guy said something really chivalrous in my opinion. He was like 'I think we'd better stay so that the accused won't try to run away. No worries, we're here for you'. He said something like that. And at that point, I was really like, woah this guy can consider marrying (plus he was quite cute and tall hehe) But 20 mins passed and the police were still nowhere in sight, so this lady in pink(yea I rmb what she wore heh) suggested driving to Bukit Timah Police Station instead since it was just right ahead. And yep that's what we did. Chivalrous guy went down with pink lady to explain the situation. Then 6 police officers came up to take the accused and complainant to the police station to settle the matter. Got home at around 12. Thank goodness I caught the last 176 home at around 11.45. hahaha!

BUT. I didn't manage to rest and have dinner until 1 plus-.- because I didn't close the lid of my apple juice tightly enough and placed it in my bag. So everything was kinda wet. and sticky urgh. So I washed my coin pouch and tattered wallet. Le coin pouch is kinda torn now because it was from Ladies Market so of course quality like crap la. So when placed under running water, the sides kinda gave way lol. I really don't mind throwing away my Guy Laroche wallet. It's big and not pretty. Plus it has served me for like 3 good years. Can alr la. HAHAH! So I changed to the big furry pouch wallet that Yvett and Nigel got me for my birthday! Quite pretty! YAY! though I looked like the ultimate bimbo today. Pink hairband, pink and white lacy dress with pink ribbon, pink Miu Miu bag, pink furry River Island pouch. HAHAH! oopz. so anyway, this has been a long enough post and I think I shall end off here! tata!
