Waiting for my grades to be uploaded on moodle is a very painful process hahaha. really. Mr Maccarao's like a week overdue!:( He promised to put all our marks up last Monday. and our CBL grades for A La Carte duty too hmmm..
Anyway, I decided to pon the first lesson. Not so much that I couldn't wake up. Just didn't feel like going (I'm not a bad student. I promise) So apparently, Ben booked the same flight as me to Singapore (he's stopping over then flying home la. where is he from anyway? Kuching isit? I think so) So I was joking that he's gonna carry my luggage and everything hehehe (together with Amana's and Sharon's la duh) not bad right. free labour. hahaha okk just kidding. don't want those feminist advocates to come give me a lecture about female empowerment and what not.
I've been counting down to the day I return, aka my birthday. You know this counting down to coming back thing kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Like I count down to when I return and to my birthday! hehehe double the excitement. I already told my parents to book a table at Prima for Dimsum! omg I miss miss miss dimsum. Like proper dimsum. not those fake frozen crap you get from Migros. hahaha! EGG TARTS YUM YUM. omg I almost deleted this whole chunk that I typed:O but anyway yes, egg tarts and century egg porridge and cheong fun and har gao and siew mai and everything. omgggggg. alternatively, I told my parents they could bring me to Tiong Bahru Market for my birthday meal too. equally as good. seeing to how I miss local food so muchhhh. You know it's crazy how people who leave Singapore for like a week plus miss local food alr. Can you imagine how badly I've been craving for stuff like Chicken Rice and Chicken Curry and Chilli Crab and Carrot Cake and Cheng Tng. oh I realised everything starts with the letter C lol. Have also been checking out what movies I can expect on my flight back. not very interesting leh. I mean ok I saw stuff like Ted and Step Up 4. yea probably just gonna keep myself occupied with these few films. and probably loose episodes of Modern Family and HIMYM and BBT? hmmmm
Weather's getting cool these days. It snowed last weekend (or rather 2 weekends ago. like 28th Oct) Was rather magical really. I still remember how it happened after I slept so early that night because I was so tired. But ended up waking up pretty early(according to my phone clock). Turns out, because of daylight saving, the time in Switzerland went back by an hour. So this means as I blog now, it's supposed to be 11.28am. However, the clocks recognise it to be 10.28. So essentially, I got to sleep an extra hour. And the time difference between here and home is now 7 hours instead of 6. Anyway, back to the magical snow day. So I thought I woke up particularly early and to a really cold day too. Nina then came in to prompt Sam to look out of the window. Then Sam woke me up and told me to do the same. I was AMAZED. I saw a sea of white (ok sounds wrong) but really. everything was covered by snow. It's like I couldn't recognise Bluche anymore hahaha! Everything was so white and pretty. I really felt like breaking into song and dance the moment I saw all that snow. I just kept staring out of the window for a good 5 mins. Finally, all our snow apparel came out. Winter coats, gloves, scarves everything! oh yea and I wore my pretty boots! yea this went on for 2 days. then the snow melted and it became hot again fml. end of my magical snow story.
so anyway, I really hope it snows soon. It's so pretty really. For a suaku from tropical sunny Singapore, this is a sight. I mean, yes I've seen snow in Korea and all. but that was in the city. different. Here, all I see are snow capped mountains and nature. It makes the snow even prettier in my opinion. so yes. I'm so glad I chose to come to Les Roches:)
