Party Planning

So it's been an uneventful day at the office. Sent out a few proposals here and there. Nothing more. Somebody give me something to do!

Actually, I COULD walk around to search for the elusive Director of Engineering. Need his signature for some document. But it's not urgent I think and I really don't want to go through the trouble of calling him and all. I haven't really spoken to him before too lol. Seriously, why can't some people just stay glued to their office chairs (like me). So that when I need something, I can go look for them and they'll be there! lol but I guess this being a hotel doesn't really help. Part of their job scope actually requires them to move about. oh well:/

Party planning has been going pretty smoothly. Up to yesterday afternoon, I was still pretty concerned about the guest list and all lol. But all's good now. And I made a trip to Ikea yesterday to purchase decorations and stuff for the party. Yay! I have a feeling the place is going to look really gorgeous and I think it'll be in synch with my theme! So excited! Just wondering if I should DIY a photo booth of not. Because there's nowhere to hang my backdrop. So my background will probably be a wooden partition. But that's not Chanel-esque. I could stick black paper over the wall. Probably make a simple sign: like "Happy Birthday Chandel" lol. Clarabelle says she wants to make props. So I can leave that to her. Hopefully it turns out nice:X Okay I'm supposed to have more faith in my sister hahaha!

Maybe I'll go surf pinterest somemore. Have a rough idea for my design concept already. So just gotta finalise it and go according to it. Hotel that I'm catering with is not responding though!! And you tell me that staff 'has many years of experience with planning events like mine'. Eh wtf do you mean she has many years of experience ignoring emails too! I feel like sending her another chaser email to get her to get things going. But maybe she has many other events (and probably higher paying clients) on her side. Can't expect everyone to have so much time on their hands like me heh

But still, paying customer here! I would expect better service. Especially from that kind of hotel:( Maybe my email wasn't clear enough. Like she couldn't tell that it warranted a response. Sigh nvm, I shall accumulate more questions and concerns I have then contact her at one go.
