So I'm sitting in the lobby waiting for Zumba to start in 2 hours. I'm starting to like this busy arrangement of mine actually. Like Zumba on Monday, duties on Wed and Thurs, and Contemporary on Saturday. Because being too free up in the mountains isn't a good thing since there really isn't anything or anyone to occupy my time with. So yes this is good. I'm also starting to enjoy my apartment even more. Especially after replacing the light bulbs hahaha. I really hated how the house was so dark because I am very particular about lighting. So yea I used to feel quite uncomfortable with the lighting at home. Then last Friday, the kitchen bulb blew. So Julie told me to get new bulbs and I just shun bian bought bulbs for all around the house. So yea, my point is that the whole place is brighter and I'm a happier person. But that being said, I think we're still making a trip to Ikea to get 2 standing lamps to make the Foyer and Living Room brighter.
It's Chinese New Year next week but everyone's still focusing on Valentine's festivities for now. We have roses and chocolates for sale this week from like different 'vendors'. Like one from the official SSC, another from this girl named Jazzlyn lol and I think a few more around. All this entrepreneurial spirit. Sigh I wonder why it didn't rub off me. I need my pocket money too. Anyway, I'm pretty psyched for my CNY celebrations here in Switzerland since I'll be having my fair share of reunion dinners. So I guess I'm not missing much. Except for the Ang Paos and the CNY decorations and Yu Sheng and Chinatown visits and blasting CNY songs in supermarkets and Ban Luck and Abalone and Yam Cakes and Tang Hoon and omg I am missing out on alot fml. I'll be missing CNY next year too, then never again. I'll be at home all day every day during CNY. Sekali I marry a foreigner and move faraway from home:/ Well at least I think I should marry an Asian if that happens. So the nature of CNY festivities won't be too far off hahaha.
Currently contemplating if I should catch some Line Walker. I have 3 more episodes to go, but somehow I'm not motivated to continue with the series. The same applies for Wu Mei Niang. And idk why this is happening:/ I used to be so attached to my Asian dramas. The only thing I'm constantly watching are reruns of HIMYM. But I've watched them before so everything's just predictable. Maybe I should go watch Downton Abbey. Or will that be even more boring idk.
Alright, maybe I'll just start on Line Walker again (k before people start speculating that I'm wasting my parent's money on tuition, I actually finished a whole pile of work over the weekend (plus single-handedly cleaned the bathroom and kitchen ok). So yes, imma bask in my well deserved freedom.
