CNY selfie to make my post seem not so wordy
Have been rather busy lately with school, projects, duty and external activities like dance, and uh socialising lol. Anyway, it's been a good 2.5 months so far. School's going great and I'm getting used to working on Weds and Thurs evenings. I'm also rather glad that I'm given the opportunity to finally perform for 2 occasions - Cultural Night and the PGD event. So yay! I'm really excited! It's been quite some time since I last attended professional dance classes and also since I last performed on stage. So I really can't wait.
I don't know if I can call today productive heh. I mean I did not spend a single minute idling around. But somehow, I found myself working till 12am hmmm. So I woke up at 11, lazed in bed and decided to book my tickets to Copenhagen. Yes I'm going on a solo trip to Copenhagen for Mid Terms yay! I've always wanted to travel alone because I am a hard-to-please traveller. Actually, not really la. I just really like going to museums and monuments. So I presume that people who don't like sightseeing (aka the majority of my friends) wouldn't like travelling with me. (also I get moody when I don't get to finish seeing and doing what I want to lol. So only my family and Jeevan (yea ok gotta give him credit) could tahan my nonsense) And Copenhagen's been a destination I've always been interested in but never actually got to thinking about visiting because... idk. Other destinations always pop up in my mind first. So yes, I'll be there from 29 March to 3 April. I've been googling 'solo trip tips' and I've been seeing posts about the importance of informing my friends and family about my itinerary so at least somebody knows where I'm at/planning to be at. Maybe I should post my itinerary here too ah. So if I die there or go missing, Straits Times can stumble upon that blog post and make some groundbreaking report about how I should have been at (insert destination) at the time I went missing/died/got kidnapped.
Anyway, as I was saying, after purchasing my tickets and booking accommodation, I proceeded to watching an episode of Raising the Bar while reading my Law notes (how apt right. Studying law while watching a legal drama). Then I did laundry round 1. While waiting for it to be done, I washed the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed the entire apartment (funny how I never lifted a finger at home except to wash dishes and do laundry, and here, I transformed to a (wannabe?) domestic goddess lol. I guess it's true when they say unknown abilities in you are brought out in desperate times). After all that cleaning (which took about an hour plus), I did laundry round 2, placed some of my clothes in the dryer (only those that I can afford to see shrink heh) then came back up to make lunch. It was already 3 by that time. Yea had a rather late lunch because last night's dinner (Mozzarella Sticks and Mac and Cheese) was super jelat! So today I made salad (omg I found out my salad leaves were expiring tmr and I bought a big bag. So I guess we all know what tmr's dinner will be) with strawberries, blueberries and mizkan dressing! Then I watched another episode of Raising the Bar. Then went down to get all my laundry, hung them in the bathroom, folded the dried ones. Then went on to make dinner (poached chicken!) By the time I finally sat down to do actual work, it was already 6 wtf.
Felt like a lost cause because we have a Law exam next week and I was still just browsing through my notes. Hadn't even reached the stage of making study notes. So just now, I forced myself to make 3 chapters worth of study notes. Then did Financial Management homework, attempted some extra questions (in my head lol. Just mentally thinking about the steps and checking it against the answers. K la better than nothing) Then read through Marketing because I was still a little confused about what my part in our project constituted. Read 3 pages of HR just now and gave up. But I guess Dr Lewis is gonna go through the chapter anyway. So whatever. Shall go back to doing Law Notes tmr while waiting for Zumba. But for now, I guess I can squeeze in another episode of Raising the Bar heh
