Anyway, those weren't really my main concerns. So yesterday, the housing agency guy finally came to
1) Give us a new vacuum cleaner
2) Fix the bathroom lights
3) Collect 3 months of rent
Yep we hadn't paid a single cent of rent until yesterday (even though we've been staying there since January). So ok, fair enough. I went to withdraw money from the ATM on Wednesday since Julie was gonna pay on my behalf Thursday night (I have dinner duty on Thursdays). So when I was at the ATM on Wednesday, I checked my account balance and it clearly read that I had CHF1500+ in my account. So I thought I could withdraw at least CHF1300 for the rent, since I had some money in my pocket already. Sounded like a bonus for my bank account right? (Like I didn't have to squeeze it so dry). But alas. Who knew that the ATM only allowed me to withdraw a miserly CHF850. Wtf man seriously. I tried again but it just kept saying I could not withdraw from that account anymore, although the ATM clearly says that I have CHF 700+ in balance, meaning that the CHF850 also came from the same account right!! Why so random:( Anyway, I ended up giving Julie 2 months of rent (and she covered 1 month for me. It was only yesterday that I experimented with my DBS card (account contains my hard earned internship pay lol) that I managed to get another CHF700+. Wanted to go to UBS to find out what happened, but when I got there, they were out for lunch. So I had 40 minutes to play with the ATM there and shop in Coop, sine I had to take the next funi back to Bluche. Sigh wasted trip. Damn the Swiss and their working benefits! Why must your lunch hour be so long!! (I should really consider working in Switzerland, short working hours, longer lunch time, high pay etc)
Yea so that's still a huge question mark. Another issue is that I need to find new rent buddies in January 2016 fml. Chelsia told me yesterday that she decided to stay on campus. And she was my only hope omg. So either I find at least one more flatmate, or I pay the full CHF 1700 monthly, which frankly, is a tad pricey. But I really don't want to move back on campus because I don't think I can get used to it. I like having my own place and being responsible for myself. I cook whenever I want. Clean however and whenever I want to. I always think those cleaning ladies in Les Roches aren't that thorough anyway. I mean they wear shoes into our rooms while mopping the floor-.- How clean can that be seriously. I could move to a studio in Marigny Club. But this means more moving, which is a little sian. And the thing is, I kinda told the housing agency guy that I was intending to extend the rent to June 2016. So he is under the impression that I have found new tenants to live with me, and he does not have to find someone to replace me. Imagine how pissed he'd be at me when I tell him the truth fml. So plsplsplsplspls let me find someone to stay with my in my apartment! Or let my parents strike the lottery and give me CHF 6840 in allowance so I can cover for 6 months of rent (if I stay by myself). Alternatively, I could find a one time job stint that pays CHF 6840 lol. HALP:/
Ok time for dance
